Traumatic injury is the leading cause of death for all people under the age of 44 and the leading cause of disability for all people under the age of 65.

The Central Region EMS & Trauma Care Council is dedicated to helping the emergency medical sevices community save lives by providing planning and ongoing evaluation of trauma specific emergency medical services in King County.
